A quick connect fitting is a coupling that is used to provide a quick connect or disconnect connection for fluid transfer lines. Hand-operated, quick-connect fittings replace threaded or flanged connections, which require wrenches.
When equipped with self-sealing valves, the quick connect fittings will automatically contain any fluid in the line after disconnection.
